Diwali at Little Graduates Early Learning Center, the Montessori was more than just a celebration — it was a joyful blend of creativity, culture, and hands-on learning for our little ones.
Our children welcomed the festival of lights with laughter, music, and activities that brought out the true spirit of Diwali — togetherness, gratitude, and joy.
Healthy Laddoo Making: Sweet Treats with a Healthy Twist
The celebration began in the most exciting way — by making healthy laddoos! Our young chefs rolled their sleeves up and mixed nutritious ingredients like dates, coconut, and dry fruits. It was a sensory delight — sticky fingers, big smiles, and the proud feeling of creating something on their own. Through this, children learned not just about festive sweets but also about healthy eating.
Lantern and Diya Crafts: Lights Made by Little Hands
The classrooms sparkled with creativity as each child made their own paper lanterns and diyas. Some of our toddlers made thumbprint diyas with bright colors, while our older children turned everyday vegetables like ladies’ fingers and potatoes into fun, natural diya stamps. The result — walls full of glowing artwork and proud little faces!

Festive Decorations by Every Age Group
Every age group contributed to decorating our preschool. The toddlers made paper garlands, the nursery children designed rangoli-inspired art, and the kindergarteners helped with lantern hanging and classroom displays. The entire school looked radiant — just like Diwali itself.

A Celebration to Remember
The day ended with traditional songs, laughter, and a lot of photo moments. What made it truly special was seeing the excitement in every child’s eyes — the magic of Diwali coming alive through learning, play, and love.
At Little Graduates Early Learning Center, festivals are more than events — they’re beautiful opportunities for children to explore, express, and connect with traditions in meaningful ways.
