Pre-writing & art
Colouring, tracing, drawing, and plenty of hands-on art & craft.
Vocabulary
Naming the world around them — objects, food, fruits & vegetables, animals & birds, vehicles, plants, professions, festivals, instruments and seasons.
Communication
Singing rhymes, listening to stories, talking about pictures, recognising letter sounds, and numbers 0–10.
English & phonics
Picture talk, rhymes & stories, tracing curves & lines, and phonics sound sets 1–5 (c-a-p-t-i-n … y-j-x-q), first & ending sounds, and uppercase letters.
Maths
More & less, number symbols 0–20, counting 1–20, and ordering & sequencing numbers.
Sensorial
Identifying objects, sizes, colours, shapes and simple patterns.

Body, clothes & home, food, animals & birds, plants & trees, vehicles, professions, seasons, festivals and traffic signs.
English
Letters & sounds a–z, 3-letter words & sentences, blend & sight words, consonant phonograms, homophones, and long & short vowels.
Maths
Numbers 1–100, place value (units → thousands), sequencing, counting backwards, addition with carryover, skip counting and 3-digit numbers.
Sensorial
Dimensions, colour shades, 2D & 3D shapes, patterns and directions.
The world around us
Body & feelings, living / non-living, plants & animals & lifecycles, professions, transport, seasons, months & days, landforms, and culture & festivals.
English
Rhymes & stories, all sounds a–z, CVC / blend / sight words & sentences, long-vowel & phonogram words, an introduction to nouns & verbs, and writing simple answers.
Maths
Numbers 1–1000, place value, comparing & ordering, addition & subtraction (with carry & borrow), skip counting, telling time, and single-digit multiplication.
Sensorial & reasoning
2D/3D shapes & their properties, patterns, odd-one-out, mirror images, what-comes-next and dimensions.
The world around us
My body, family & feelings, food groups, plants & animals, transport, cultural India, the Earth & landforms, and planets, continents & oceans.
Primary is on the way
We're extending into Grades 1–3 over the coming years — so your child can keep growing with us beyond UKG, without changing schools. Primary will build on this foundation with logical reasoning, deeper language & maths, EVS, and early computers & coding.
