🌟 Our Approach to Guidance & Discipline

At Little Graduates, we believe in respectful, gentle guidance that helps children grow into confident, kind, and independent individuals. Our preferred practices include:

  • Positive reinforcement – Encouraging appropriate behavior through kind words, gestures, and acknowledgment of effort.

  • Redirection with empathy – Gently guiding children away from unsafe or unkind behavior toward positive alternatives.

  • Clear, calm instructions – One clear verbal request (ensuring the child understands), followed by gentle support if needed.

  • Skill-building through practice – Helping children learn self-discipline by teaching and modeling expected behaviors consistently.

  • Empowering choices – Offering age-appropriate options and helping children follow through, building their decision-making skills and independence.
